USM Alger cut short their ten-day camp in Kenya

Algerian side USM Alger have cut short their ten-day tour of Kenya after four of their players allegedly sustained injuries.

Alger are set to play Rwandan champions Rayon Sports in a Group D match of Caf Confederation next week.

The Algerian side, who are top of the Group that also includes Gor Mahia and Yanga from Tanzania, departed for Kigali on Saturday after their coach blamed poor training pitch for the injury of the four players.

The four players include Meftah Rabai, Yaya Fouzi, goalkeepers Mansouri and Berafan.

USM Alger suffered defeat against Kenyan side Sofapaka in a friendly played at Camp Toyoyo on Wednesday. 

Gor Mahia will clash with Yanga in the other Group D match on July 18, in Nairobi.
