Ulinzi Stars will play against Libyan Premier League side Al Hilal Benghazi on February 10 in their first match of the 2017 Caf Confederation Cup and head coach Benjamin Nyangweso is tying loose knots in his team before that time.
The Soldiers have had three friendly matches in the last two weeks and the coach now has a clear picture of their strengths and weaknesses ahead of the continental match. He says that every department is now almost up-to-date save for striking force which needs a bit of sharpening.
“Overall we are playing very well, but the problem is that final product. We create very many chances, but scoring is a problem. We are working on it and I am confident we will get better with time. The team is ready for the first game against Benghazi. We now only need to polish on the few weak areas,” he told the club’s official web-portal.
They will leave the country on February 6 to Egypt where the preliminary match will be played.
