Ulinzi Stars have welcomed their new sponsorship deal with betting firm Elitebet.
The club's vice-chairman Major Joe Birgen has termed the new deal as a great addition to the team and a morale booster to the playing unit and technical bench to push for better results in the second half of the season.
Ulinzi Stars signed a shit sponsorship deal with the betting company on Monday for the remainder of the season and their logo will now appear on all Ulinzi Stars jerseys. “We are very grateful to Elitebet for choosing to sponsor Ulinzi and welcome them to the team and it is a great addition for us.
"As a team we have needs as well and having such a company come on board is a boost. The players will now have more motivation to work hard and get results on the pitch Major Birgen told the club's official website.
He added; “As a team we are working very hard and we are one of the contenders for the title. In the second leg we are going to work more and get good results. We have finished the first leg on third place and we now put more effort for the second leg."
On his part, senior player Geoffrey Kokoyo said; “As players, we are very happy with a new sponsor coming on board. Now the challenge is on us to get results on the pitch because the motivation is there.”
