Ulinzi Stars players Milton Wafula and Boniface Onyango will not be part of the team for the second half of the season.
While Milton has been redeployed to other military duties, Onyango heads out for a military progression course that will last five months, and thus effectively ruled out for the remaining months in the season.
Milton was among the new signings at the team at the start of the year, and is scheduled to undertake progression courses later on but at the moment joins his unit for other duties.
Confirmation of the duo’s exit makes it three the number of players leaving ahead of the second leg, with Brian Birgen having already left for a five – month military progression course.
Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo has recalled to the team defender Geoffrey Kokoyo, midfielder Omar Boraafya and striker Mark Bikokwa, all who were out undertaking military courses in the first leg.
Bikokwa and Kokoyo featured in the team’s 3-0 win over Transmillan FC in the Shield Cup on June 2 with the former netting the second goal and having a hand in the third.
