Ulinzi Stars coach challenges charges to win matches

The Soldiers were shocked by newly promoted Zoo Kericho at their backyard in their previous match

Ulinzi Stars have suffered a back-to-back defeats and head Coach Benjamin Nyangweso says his boys must now rise to start winning.

Consecutive defeats against Kakamega Homeboyz and Zoo Kericho are still fresh in his mind and he cannot afford to lose again going by the fact that the Soldiers have an ambition of lifting the 2017 Kenyan Premier League trophy.

"It is so bad losing back to back matches especially the last at home. We had our chances, we never utilized and we were punished for very small mistakes in defense. We really need to be back up and play like we had done when the season started.

We have to work on correcting the small mistakes that we had especially at the back. I am confident we can be back. The two losses are a wakeup call to us," he told the club’s official website.

Ulinzi Stars are playing against Thika United away at the Thika Sub-County Stadium in their next league match.
