ATK’s U15 side were on the receiving end of another thrashing at the hands of a fellow Kolkata team when they were beaten 8-0 in an AIFF Youth I-League match on Thursday at the Barasat stadium.

East Bengal striker Hasan Ali Molla ran riot for the Kolkata giants with four goals to his credit. Mukesh Singha, Akshay Dey, Bijay Mandal and Sourav Mondal were the other goal-scorers for the Red and Golden brigade.

ATK had earlier been thrashed by 13-0 by East Bengal’s arch rivals Mohun Bagan in their opening Kolkata Zonal game on November 9.

Both the Kolkata derby rivals now lie in the top two positions in the Kolkata zone with seven points each from their three respective games so far.

The clash between Mohun Bagan and East Bengal which was scheduled earlier on November 13 was meanwhile postponed due to lack of security coverage with the Indian cricket team playing a Test match in Kolkata at the same time.
