'Hala Madrid!!!' - Twitter reacts to Real Madrid winning the Champions League

Social media exploded after Los Blancos were crowned champions on Saturday, the 12th title in their history

It was an evening to remember in Cardiff capped by Cristiano Ronaldo's brace to ensure Real Madrid became the first team in the Champions League era to successfully defend the trophy.

Juventus were hoping to win the title for captain Gianluigi Buffon, but they were capitulated 4-1 by Zinedine Zidane’s men.

And after Felix Brych’s full-time whistle sounded around Millennium Stadium and it sunk in that Madrid had pipped the Old Ladies to the title, Twitter exploded as what felt the world took to social media platform to congratulate the Santiago Bernabeu giants.
