After being eliminated from the Caf Champions League, Tusker FC have now intensified their preparation as they aim at defending their local crowns.
The Brewers' media liaison Dianah Yonah says the players are giving their best and the competition is high. "Right now there is nothing much going on since the league has not yet started. However the competition is good in the camp as players aim at impressing the coach.
On Thursday we are going to play a friendly match against an unconfirmed opponent in a bid to sharpen up for the league. "As for Kago (Danson) his recovery is going on well and I believe he is about to return to action soon," she told Goal.
Last season, Tusker won the league and GOtv Shield for the first time in their 47 year history.
