Tusker goalkeeper Patrick Matasi could be on his way out of the club, barely two months after he joined the Brewers.

The Kenyan international moved to Ruaraka from Posta Rangers in the mid-season transfer window.

Matasi’s dream of turning pro-could materialize in the coming days, after earlier attempts to move to a foreign league collapsed in January, with the custodian now said to have landed another deal outside the country.

“Matasi might leave us. He’s currently processing his papers and he might leave the country in the coming days,” a source close to the players told Goal but without disclosing exactly which club or country the Harambee Stars keeper could be headed to.

“He went to the office office where he spent a considerable amount of time in the early morning (Thursday) and from the look of things, the deal seems to have been reached.

"The final decision is now with the management though it is not clear whether he will be leaving in the middle of the season or at the end of the season.”

Tusker have denied the reports with Charles Obiny terming the statement as rumours.

Matasi also rubbished the reports: “I’m going nowhere. Those are rumours that might ruin my relationship with Tusker,” said the two-time Kenyan Premier League Golden Glove winner.

Matasi landed a chance to attend trial with Macedonia’s FK Pelister Bitola early in January but the deal collapsed following a delay in processing his traveling documents.
