On Wednesday, the Red Giants beat Terengganu 2-0 at the Selayang Municipal Stadium, through goals by Polish midfielder Kamil Poźniak and Egyptian forward Mohamed Talaat.

27-year old Poźniak is a former Poland U23 squad member who has played mainly for Polish clubs such as Lechia Gdańsk, ŁKS Łódź and Górnik Łęczna, while Talaat, also 27, had played for Egypt's Al Ahly and Ittihad El Shorta.

On the following day, in another friendly that pitted mainly Selangor's second team players against FAM Cup side MOF FC, another trialist, 28-year old Brazilian forward Tiago Chulapa scored the only game of the match, converting a penalty. Tiago has played mainly in Brazil, and last played for Al-Seeb Club in Oman.

The Red Giants currently have two more non-Asian foreign player slots to fill, having retained the services of Nigerian centre back Ugochokwo Ukah and Indonesia star Andik Vermansah.

KEDAH

On Thursday, 2016 Malaysia Cup champions Kedah announced the arrival of Zac Anderson. The 25-year old centre back is a former Australia U23 squad member, and has played for Sydney FC in the A-League and UAE's Emirates Club. The club stated that his signing is pending a medical and contract agreement.

The Red Eagles currently have only one foreign player slot left, which they look to fill with Anderson's signing.
