Neymar open to €400m Man Utd move

Neymar would be open to a summer move to Manchester United, Don Balon claims.

It has been widely reported that the Brazil star is not happy with life at Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid had been tipped as favourites to lure him away from Parc des Princes.

However, the Spanish outlet now claims that Neymar is open to the idea of moving to Old Trafford, with the Red Devils seemingly willing to shell out the €400 million that PSG would demand for their star player.

Blind ignoring Man Utd exit talk

Daley Blind is expecting to be at Manchester United next season despite reports linking the club with new recruits and him with a summer exit.

The versatile 28-year-old has seen the Red Devils take up the option of extending his contract through to 2019.

Blind is aware of the rumours, concerning both incomings and outgoings, but has offered no indication that he is looking for a move, with it his intention to force his way back into contention under Jose Mourinho.

Iniesta teases decision on Barcelona future

Andres Iniesta says he has made a decision on his future but will speak to Barcelona about his intentions first.

The 33-year-old, whose contract is said to contain an option for him to leave at the end of the season, has received substantial offers from clubs in the Chinese Super League and the Middle East - as revealed by Goal.

The Spain star, who was given a standing ovation after being substituted during Saturday's 2-1 La Liga win over Valencia, says his mind is made up on his plans.

Premier League clubs want Alcacer

Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer could be on his way to the Premier League in the summer after several English clubs showed an interest, reports Sport .

Alcacer has struggled to make an impact since his move from Valencia in 2016, but Barca are confident they can recoup the €30 million they paid for the Spain international, if they decide to sell.

Southampton have previously been linked with Alcacer, while Monaco are also interested in the 24-year-old, but will struggle to compete financially with any Premier League clubs.

Man City open to groundsharing with Utd

Manchester City will consider letting Man Utd share the Etihad Stadium if the latter go ahead with plans to redevelop Old Trafford, The Sun claims.

The tabloid reports that the Premier League champions-elect would be open to negotiations over letting their cross-town rivals use their pitch, but rent is likely to be high.

United shared a ground with City once before, the Red Devils having taken up residence at City's Maine Road in 1941 due to blast damage during World War II.

Madrid to hijack Griezmann move

Real Madrid are looking at the possibility of hijacking Barcelona's move for Antoine Griezmann, Diario Gol   reports.

With Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema not firing for the Blancos this season, and the club looking to rebuild their attack, the Atletico ace has become a backup option to Neymar and Harry Kane. 

And, as Griezmann is a Madrid fan, Los Blancos believe they can swoop in late to land the forward. 

Man Utd to watch Celtic star Tierney

Manchester United will send scouts to Sunday's game between Celtic and Rangers to watch Kieran Tierney, says  The Daily Mail .

The Scotland international has already attracted attention from across Europe, with the Red Devils having long been credited with an interest in him.

Although Tierney recently signed a long-term contract with Celtic, he is expected to move on to a new adventure eventually and a strong performance in the Scottish Cup semi-final could make an impression on United. 

Darmian closes in on Juve move

Matteo Darmian is close to joining Juventus from Manchester United in the summer,  Tuttosport  claims.

The defender has played just one minute of Premier League football in 2018 and has been heavily linked with a return to Italy at the end of the season.

Juve have heavily pursued the former Torino player recently and are close to reaching agreement with the Red Devils.

Bale wants Madrid stay

Gareth Bale still wants to stay with Real Madrid despite being upset with his early exit in the Champions League clash against Juventus, reports the  Daily Mail

The Welsh winger is still confident in his ability to break back into the team and believes that Zinedine Zidane has not closed the door on him completely. 

Chelsea chasing Madrid's Asensio

Real Madrid are concerned over Chelsea's interest in Marco Asensio, according to Don Balon

The Blues are making a strong push to bring in the 22-year-old, with Alvaro Morata pushing the Premier League side to make a deal happen this summer. 

Drinkwater wanted by West Ham

West Ham are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater, who has failed to find a starting spot since joining the Blues from Leicester City, reports The Sun .

 The report claims that the former Foxes' midfielder could be lured by Leicester’s head of recruitment Eduardo Macia, who West Ham have made a priority to land this summer. 

Ronaldo wants Guedes at Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo is lobbying Florentino Pérez to sign Goncalo Guedes from Valencia this summer, claims Don Balon

Ronaldo does not believe the club need to sign another top striker, like Harry Kane or Robert Lewandowski, because he believes he can lead the line.

Instead, he wants his young countryman brought to the club to help bolster the attack next season. 

Madrid CL title could impact Griezmann

A third Champions League title on the trot for Real Madrid could impact the timing of Antoine Greizmann signing with Barcelona, Don Balon   believes. 

Should Los Blancos claim the crown again, Barcelona will rush through the Greizmann deal as a sort of response, though if Madrid come up short the Catalan club will take their time making the deal happen. 

Bayern confirm Kovac as next manager

Bayern Munich have confirmed Niko Kovac will replace Jupp Heynckes as the club's coach next season.

Widespread reports in Germany over the past couple of days had suggested the former Bayern defensive midfielder had won the race to succeed Jupp Heynckes, but Eintracht Franfurt board member Fredi Bobic said on Thursday the coach's current club were unaware of any deal.

However. Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic confirmed the following day that an agreement has been made. Salihamidzic said: "We agreed a three-year contract on Thursday.

Fire have discovery claim on Torres

The Chicago Fire have both a discovery claim and an interest in Atletico Madrid forward Fernando Torres, who will be a free agent this summer, according to

Sports Illustrated   reported earlier in the week that interest in Torres across MLS was lukewarm, with the former Liverpool star's asking price driving off potential buyers. 

His agent has also publicly stated that he will likely head to either MLS or China

Marquez set for boardroom move

Rafa Marquez's final match as an Atlas player will be April 20's Clasico Tapatio against Chivas, according to  Record .

After the penultimate match of the season, Marquez would take on a boardroom role as a director. Marquez would be in charge of all aspects of the club, which will be fighting to avoid relegation next season. He could still go to the World Cup with Mexico should Juan Carlos Osorio want him to be part of the delegation.

Former Atlas player and current Univision commentator Pavel Pardo's name continues to be mentioned as a potential sporting director.
