TEAM NEWS: Giroud starts for unchanged Arsenal as Bellerin only makes bench

The Gunners are looking to close in on Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table and have named an unchanged team for their tie against Burnley

Olivier Giroud has recovered in time to start for Arsenal against Burnley but Hector Bellerin is only fit enough to feature on the bench.

Wenger's right - Arsenal don't need Payet

Giroud, who has scored seven goals in 14 games in the Premier League this game, picked up an injury in last week's win over Swansea, prompting fears he could miss Sunday's game.

However, the striker was cleared as fit and takes his place as the spearhead of the Gunners' attack.

Right-back Bellerin, meanwhile, was hopeful of regaining his place in the defence but has instead been named as a substitute, with Gabriel continuing on the right.

Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka patrol the central midfield areas, while Alex Iwobi and Alexis Sanchez take their place on the wings.

Burnley start with Andre Gray and Ashley Barnes up top, with last week's match winner Joey Barton on the bench for the visitors

Arsenal: Cech, Gabriel, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Xhaka, Ramsey, Iwobi, Ozil, Alexis, Giroud

Burnley: Heaton, Lowton, Keane, Mee, Ward, Boyd, Marney, Hendrick, Defour, Barnes, Gray.
