Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has added Andrea Barzagli to his line-up for the Champions League semi-final first leg against Monaco, with Juan Cuadrado reduced to a slot on the bench because of a muscle complaint.
Barzagli starts at right-back at the Stade Louis II, with Dani Alves pushed into a wide midfield role for the Serie A side.
Gonzalo Higuain leads the line for the Italians, with Alves, Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic working behind the Argentina international.
For Monaco, meanwhile, veteran striker Radamel Falcao starts up front alongside teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe.
The 18-year-old has been in electric form in his debut season, and will pose a threat for the formidable Juve centre-back pairing of Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini.
It will also be Mbappe's first encounter with Gianluigi Buffon, who at 39 is 21 years his senior.
Benjamin Mendy is out for the hosts at Stade Louis II, while Djibril Sidibe starts his first game at left-back since April 9.
