Abdulatif Omar is expected to get his first league start since he rejoined Sofapaka in June against Thika United.

Omar was an unused substitute in last weekend’s GOtv Shield Cup tie against Western Stima. Batoto ba Mungu will be without Morven Otinya, who is out with a thigh injury while goalkeeper Mathias Kigonya, who was named in KPL AllStars squad for Spain tour, has been included.

Sofapaka, sixth on the log with 23 points, takes on Thika United, who are rooted bottom of the table on 11 points after 15 rounds of matches. Sam Ssimbwa side, lost their last league match 2-1 to Nakumatt FC while Thika are yet to register a win since April 9. Thika United's last league success was a 1-0 win against Zoo Kericho.
