Sunshine Stars will not underestimate Osun United, says Adeshina

Duke Udi's men are targeting a place in the last four but must overcome the Osogbo based outfit on Wednesday

Sunshine Stars' Thomas Adeshina says his side will not underestimate Osun United in Wednesday's Federation Cup quarterfinal clash in Oshogbo.

The Owena Whales edged Ngwa FC to book a place in the Round of 16, while Osun United saw off El Kanemi Babes to advance.

And the forward is expecting a tough challenge against his gaffer's former side in the first leg of the last eight.

"They will be really prepared for a massive game on Wednesday and it's going to be a tough match," Adeshina told Goal.

"They are a young side and most importantly the former team of our coach. We are not going to underestimate them because they play in the lower division.

"We are hoping to bring to fore our experience in the top division and be fully ready to secure a first leg advantage though it's always going to be a tough match."
