Sundowns in for tough PSL start, Chiefs and Pirates to face bottom half teams?

The provisional Premiership fixtures have been leaked and there could be a few exciting matches in store

The start of the 2017/18 PSL season could see mouthwatering clashes aplenty, with the Tshwane derby between SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns  among the fixtures to look forward to.

Defending champions Bidvest Wits are expected to face off against last season's surprise packages Cape Town City on Friday, the 18th of August.

As per custom, the MTN 8 would officially get the season underway and thus the quarterfinals thereof are pencilled for the weekend of August 11-13.

The league itself is not concerned that the provisional fixtures have been leaked, saying they will officially release the fixtures next week.

Among the other key fixtures, Orlando Pirates could host Chippa United, with Kaizer Chiefs set to travel to the Free State to play Bloemfontein Celtic.
