Following Sunday's unveilng, the Liverpool star became the latest football star to honoured with a weird-looking sculpture

Mohamed Salah's statue in Egypt has got people talking on social media.

The artwork made by Mai Abdel Allah was revealed at the World Youth Forum in Sharm El Sheikh as a symbol of excellence for Egyptian youths to follow.

It shows Salah's trademark celebration with arms wide opened but the resemblance has drawn comparison with British entertainer Leo Sayer and actor Daniel Stern who starred in popular comedy movie Home Alone as Marv Merchants.
