Siphiwe Tshabalala: This is the only Kaizer Chiefs

The Soweto giants have had an indifferent start to the season, but Shabba has urged the team to be more responsible going into the final match of 2017

Kaizer Chiefs winger Siphiwe Tshabalala has revealed that they have had a conversation among themselves as players to keep going as players during the team's difficult times.

This was after Amakhosi's win over Platinum Stars, which saw them win just once in five league matches and move within touching distance of log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

“We spoke about it and said, ‘just keep going'," Tshabalala told the media.

"This is the only Chiefs. We need to keep going and get the results,” he said.

Reflecting on the Glamour Boys' win over Dikwena, Shabba said it was important for them to collect all the three points on offer and remain in the title league race.

”It was key to get maximum points. We had targeted nine points from the last three games of the year, but we suffered a setback against Chippa and this was another opportunity for us to get the points and I’m happy we got them," explained the 33-year-old attacking midfielder.

Speaking of this weekend's match against Ajax Cape Town, Tshabalala emphasized the importance of collecting maximum points and end 2017 on high note.

“Now, there is one [game] to go [against Ajax]. Now, it is to focus again and take the positives and make sure we end 20217 on a high [note],” concluded the South Africa international.
