Singida United chairperson, Festo Sanga has claimed that they will put their Ligi Kuu poor spell behind them when they play Yanga in the Federation Cup on April 1.
The Singida based side will host Yanga in the quarter final of the tournament in the Namfua Stadium.
Speaking to Goal, Sanga confessed that they have had a series of poor results in the Ligi Kuu matches but he suggested that it does not mean anything ahead of their big match with George Lwandamina's Boys.
“We are not in a good shape especially in the Ligi Kuu matches but that does not mean anything ahead of our game against Yanga, we are going to fight in order to have a good result,” said Sanga.
Singida United who started the league strongly currently sit fifth on the Ligi Kuu table with 36 points and are winless in the past five games, drawing three times and losing twice.
