Director of competitions for Sierra Leone Football Association, Sorie Ibrahim Sesay, believes they are capable of upsetting Ghana in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on October 11.
After matchday two in Group F, all four teams boast of three points each with an equal chance of qualifying to the finals.
Sorie believes they will not leave Ghana without a point.
"The group is wide open for any country to qualify so we're hoping to pick a good result in the first leg in Kumasi and if possible, shock Ghana in front of their supporters," Sorie told Goal.
"We have few days ahead of the game so a team of delegation including myself will be in Ghana between now and Friday to prepare the grounds before the players and technical team arrived since we're aiming to pick at least four points from the two games.
"We'll be looking for suitable accommodation and other things that will make our stay successful before, during and after the game. We believe we can upset Ghana so preparations on and off the field are our main concern now," he added.
Sierra Leone will host Ghana in the return leg on October 15 in Freetown.
