Sanjoy Sen - Mohun Bagan are playing for three points against Abahani Limited Dhaka

With the Kolkata Derby against East Bengal in less than a week, Mohun Bagan are in AFC Cup action...

Mohun Bagan are all set to take on Abahani Limited Dhaka at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium in their second AFC Cup Group E fixture.

Their first venture against Bengaluru FC had ended up in defeat and the Katsumi Yusa led side will look to open their points tally at home.

With the club in action in the I-League a couple of days back, Sen stressed that there would be changes but the goal was to pick up a win.

Moyes apologises for slap threat

"We are playing for three points. Yes there will be two three changes but the players are motivated to do well," he said.

Sen was candid in admitting he did not have much of an idea about the opposition.

"No idea about them. We have to be cautious for the first fifteen to twenty minutes when we take to the field," he blurted.

"Sony might not know all the players because it was three seasons ago when he played there. But I will definitely talk to him once we get to know their squad list," he added when asked whether Sony Norde would be able to shed some light about Abahani, a club who he had faced when he played in Bangladesh.

Dhaka coach Drago Mamic had formerly coached the Churchill Brothers in 2010-11 and said he was proud of his time there.

"I was proud of my time at Churchill Brothers where I defeated Mohun Bagan 2-1 in the IFA Shield," he recounted.

Ancelotti upbeat on Neuer and Muller

Mamic who was in his second stint at the club said that it was tough to build the team but he saw the game as must win.

"It has been tough for me to build the team but we have made some signing and looking to add some more. We have to play well because we have the opportunity to come top of the group," he elucidated.

The Mariners head coach concluded by saying that the upcoming Kolkata Derby was nowhere on his priority list at the moment.

"I am not seeing this as a dress rehearsal for the Derby. I do not care about it now," he signed off.
