AFC Leopards coach Rodolfo Zapata has admitted that losing a game is not an issue as long as his side plays attractive football.

Ingwe are scheduled to take on Posta Rangers this weekend and are facing an injury crisis at the back. However, coach Zapata is optimistic that they will play entertaining football and he will be happy even if they lose.

“My four main defenders – Dennis Sikhayi, Robinson Kamura, Abdallah Salim and Moses Mburu are all injured as well as my three playmakers Jafari Owiti, Marvin Nabwire and Saad Musa.

“However, this will not change my coaching philosophy. We can win, lose or draw a game, but we cannot lose the dignity earned by playing attractive football. If we play better than Posta Rangers, we will have more chances to win,” Zapata told the official KPL website.

“I will give a report to the National Executive Committee (NEC) at the end of the season and then the club will decide which players will go and which ones to sign in order to boost the team.

“Its very import that the NEC and myself reach the same conclusion to fight for the league next season. AFC Leopards have a bright future with these young boys.”

In other matches, league champions Gor Mahia will take on Thika United on Saturday while on Sunday, there will be a double header in Kericho pitting Ulinzi Stars vs Wazito at 2pm and Zoo FC vs Bandari FC from 4:15pm.
