VIDEO: 'Respect!' - Angry Mourinho storms out of Man Utd press conference

A furious Jose Mourinho pointed out he has won more Premier League title than the rest of his rivals put together before walking out of a press conference demanding respect in the aftermatch of Manchester United's defeat to Tottenham.

Having gone down 3-2 to Brighton in a shock reverse last week, United were hoping for better fortunes as they welcomed Spurs to Old Trafford on Monday.

But after a well-matched first half the visitors ran riot, with Harry Kane opening the scoring 50 minutes in before Lucas Moura hit a double to seal a 3-0 victory

The result marked Mourinho's heaviest home defeat in his entire managerial career, while United were also condemned to their worst Premier League start since the competition began in 1992 .

With all that in mind, it was no surprise to see the Special One react rather angrily to questions over his side's surrender.

"Just to finish. Do you know what was the result? 3-0. 3-0. Do you know what this mean? 3-0," he fired in a press conference.

"But it also means three Premierships, and I have won more Premierships alone than the other 19 managers together.

"Three for me and two for them. Respect! Respect! Respect, man! Respect! Respect! Respect!"

That was the last reporters heard from Mourinho, as he got up from his seat and stormed out of the hall.

United have picked up just three points from their opening three Premier League games, with a 2-1 win over Leicester their sole victory so far in the competition.

And while it is still early in the season, the Red Devils will have to work hard to catch up with early leaders Spurs, Liverpool, Watford and Chelsea, who have a perfect nine points from nine.

Mourinho's men will be back in action on Sunday, when they visit struggling Burnley at Turf Moor.
