Ray Parlour backs Crystal Palace’ Wilfried Zaha to improve in a better club

The former Gunners’ legend reckoned that the 25-year-old could take his game to the next level if he joins a ‘better team’

Former England midfielder Ray Parlour is confident that Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha can improve in a better team.

Arsenal is speculated to be on the heels of the Cote d'Ivoire international after helping Palace out of relegation water, where his two goals since returning from injury have saved Roy Hodgson’s men from defeat.

Though the former Arsenal player admitted Zaha’s quality, he, however, acknowledged that the former Manchester United forward needs to improve his ‘end product’ which can be better developed at a bigger club.

“(Zaha)’s a player who can run at you, he’s got great pace. (He’s) probably lacking a little bit in goals,” Parlour told talkSPORT.

“He gets in some great positions and maybe his end product is not as good as it should be but I think this will improve and in a better team you might get more out of him.”
