Ramirez: Boateng can return to Las Palmas whenever he wants

President of Primera Division side Las Palmas Miguel Angel Ramirez has revealed that Kevin-Prince Boateng has a clause that can see him return to the La Liga side anytime he wants to.

Boateng recently left Las Palmas by mutual agreement for Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt with whom he penned a three-year deal.

However, Ramirez claims the 30-year-old can always return to the Canary Islander whenever he desires according to a clause on his contract.

"He has a clause that he can return to Las Palmas whenever he wants,” Ramirez was quoted by Bild.

"He gave everything for us and we will always give him a seat.

"Boateng did not comment on a possible clause. Frankfurt pointed out that there was no fundamental principle of contract.

“When he moved to Frankfurt, he left the door open behind him,” added the Ramirez.

The former Ghana international found the back of the net 10 times in 28 appearances for the club from the Gran Canaria holiday resort before returning to Germany.

So far, he’s only managed one strike in four outings for Die Adler.
