Former Hearts of Oak coach Mohammed Ahmed Polo has advised Asante Kotoko to part ways with Steve Polack after a series of poor results.
The Kumasi giants could only score one goal against Congolese side CARA Brazzaville in the first leg of the Caf Confederation Cup preliminary round on Sunday, despite being awarded four spot kicks, adding to their terrible pre-season results.
"Kotoko management should sack Steve Polack because he is not the right coach for the club," Polo told Sikka FM.
"The club is struggling under him despite the materials available. If he is fortunate to continue, I think he should start doing things right before the second leg of the Confederation Cup in Brazzaville," he said.
"After Kotoko missing three penalties in Kumasi, Polack should know that his side won't have it easy in Congo. Honestly, I doubt if they'll be able to handle the intimidation and chants from the home supporters," he added.
Kotoko will play CARA Brazzaville in the return fixture on February 21.
