PKNP-Selangor match postponed due to floodlights failure

The match day 11 fixture between PKNP FC and Selangor that was scheduled to be played at Batu Kawan Stadium on May 23 will now be rescheduled for a later date.

A statement from Malaysia Football League (MFL) confirmed that the match had been postponed after problems that occured with the floodlights.

Upon further inspection, the stadium's technical staff confirmed that repair work will take up to a month. This meant that the match could not be played tomorrow (May 24) is would normally be when a match is abandoned or stopped.

The fasting month also mean that the match could not be played in the afternoon.

The new fixture date will be decided by MFL, who are the organisers of the Super League.
