Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang set to miss Borussia Dortmund’s clash against Magdeburg

BVB will travel to MDCC-Arena without their influential forward who has been sidelined due to an injury

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to miss Borussia Dortmund’s clash against Magdeburg on Tuesday in the League Cup due to an injury he picked up lately.

The Gabon international ‘had muscular problems’ on Wednesday and the duration of the injury is yet to be ascertained.

The 28-year-old has registered 15 goals this season in his 14 appearances for Peter Bosz’s side.

The club confirmed that the forward will not play a part in the outing via its social media on Wednesday.

“Without Aubameyang to Magdeburg: this afternoon (Wednesday), the Borussia Dortmund striker had muscular problems,” the club tweeted.
