Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted a brace in Borussia Dortmund’s 3-2 loss to RB Leipzig in a German Bundesliga game on Saturday.

The 28-year-old got the curtain raiser for the hosts in the fourth minute but it was canceled out by Marcel Sabitzer’s goal for the visitors six minutes later.

Yussuf Poulsen gave the Bulls the lead in the 25th minute before Jean-Kevin Augustin gave the Red Bull Arena giants a two-goal cushion with a well-taken penalty four minutes after the restart.

However, the former Milan striker gave the hosts a lifeline in the  64th minute, but Peter Bozs’ side could not find the elusive goal as they suffered their first defeat of the season in the German top flight.

Dortmund remain at the summit of the Bundesliga standings despite the loss and will be looking to bounce back when they visit the Commerzbank-Arena to tackle Commerzbank-Arena on October 21.
