Paul Onuachu's strike rescues Midtjylland

The Nigerian forward weighed in with a last-gasp winner to ensure the Wolves share the spoils at the Nordjyske Arena

Paul Onuachu scored as Midtjylland battled to grab a 1-1 draw at AaB in a Danish Superliga encounter on Monday evening.

Morten Wieghorst's men took the lead in the 54th minute through Frederik Børsting but the Wolves had to count on the 22-year-old's strike on the stroke of regulation time to get a share of the points.

His compatriot, Rilwan Hassan played for 75 minutes before being substituted for Jonas Borring.

The goal was Onuachu’s eighth in 24 league appearances for Jess Thorup’s side. And they are placed fourth on the log with 38 points garnered from 25 games.

In their next Danish topflight encounter, they welcome eight placed Nordsjælland to the MCH Arena on March 19.
