Paul Onuachu scores in Midtjylland massive victory

The 23-year-old registered a second-half goal as the Wolves brushed aside Thomas Thomasberg’s side in a Danish topflight outing

Nigeria’s Paul Onuachu was on target in Midtjylland 5-1 comfortable victory over Hobro in the Denmark Superliga on Sunday.

Alexander Soerloth started the party for Jess Thorup’s men when he marked the first goal of the encounter in the 20th minutes and Jakob Poulsen doubled the lead three minutes after from the penalty spot.

Alexander Soerloth breached the defense of Thomasberg’s side a minute before the hour mark courtesy of Rilwan Hassan assist and Paal Alexander Kirkevold fired home in the 71st minutes with a well taken penalty to reduce the margin.

With two minutes left to play, Onuachu added his name on the score sheet to plunder his fifth goal of the season and Alexander Soerloth put the icing on the cake at the death.

Onuachu will be hoping to continue with this impressive form when Midtjyllan square up with Greve in the Danish DBU Pokalen clash on Wednesday.
