Our tipster thinks that the Hoops could be in for another hammering at the hands of Unai Emery's men when the two teams meet in Paris on Tuesday

Paris Saint-Germain will have a place in the Champions League record books in their sights when they play host to Celtic in Group B on Wednesday night.

The Parisians have been peerless in this competition so far this season, scoring a hugely impressive 17 goals in their first four group games whilst not conceding a Champions League goal.

It is their scoring exploits that have taken PSG to within touching distance of a piece of Champions League history, for Borussia Dortmund’s record tally of 21 goals in the group stage of the competition – set just last season – is certainly within reach for Emery’s men, even after just four games.

PSG opened their European campaign in superb style by claiming a fantastic 5-0 win against Celtic in Glasgow – with a repeat of that result is chalked up at 9/1 (10.0) from dabblebet - and the price available for a home win is prohibitively skinny, with the odds compilers offering just 1/12 (1.08) that Emery’s men do the double over the Scottish champions.

Celtic’s dream of reaching the Last 16 of this competition was ended by a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich last month, but Brendan Rodgers’ side have high hopes of securing third spot in this group – enough to guarantee a place in the last 32 of the Europa League.

A win here would, most certainly, go a long way to achieving that objective and the Scottish champions – who face Motherwell in the League Cup final at Hampden Park next weekend – are available at 25/1 (26.0) to warm up for that one with a famous win against Emery’s men; the enormity of the task facing the Hoops, however, is perhaps reflected by the huge 10/1 (11.0) quote on offer for Celtic to claim a share of the spoils in Paris.

The gulf in class between these two teams was cruelly exposed in their previous meeting and dabblebet offer just 4/11 (1.36) that the hosts lead at both half time and full time, while the same firm go 5/6 (1.83) that Emery’s team score more than three goals against Celtic.

The 13/10 (2.30) quote for PSG to win by at least four clear goals offers good value, for it would have landed in three of the four Champions League matches that the Parisians have contested this season and with that goal record within reach, there is little chance of Emery’s men taking their foot off the pedal - even though they are already assured of a place in the last 16 of the competition.

The 13/10 (2.30) price, therefore, for PSG (-3) to come out on top in the handicap market appears to offer good value for punters ahead of Wednesday’s clash.

PSG (-3) to beat Celtic at 13/10 (2.30) for a 1pt stake with dabblebet
