Our aim is qualify for the national finals, says Fortune High School’s Williams

Fortune High School’s Nwana Williams is delighted to have scored a brace in his side’s 4-1 win over Winners Academy in the 2017 Copa Coca Cola regional finals at the Modern Secondary School, Port Harcourt.

A brace from Nwana Williams and one goal each from Nathaniel Bassey and Elijah Etoro handed the boys from Uyo their first win in the Port Harcourt regional finals on Tuesday.

And the youngster believes the victory will boost their confidence to claim victories in their remaining games in the competition.

“I feel so happy for scoring two goals because it helps us to be the first in the group stage and I also thank my teammates for supporting me,”

“We tried to score in the first half but it was difficult, everyone tried but it didn’t work, but in the second half, they changed my position from 10 to nine, and immediately we made the changes, I scored two goals.

“Our aim is to emerge champions at the regional level to be able to participate in the national finals in Lagos.''
