Opoku elated over 'awesome' Udinese switch

The Ghanaian defender cannot wait to get started at the Dacia Arena following his move to the Little Zebras

Ghana defender Nicholas Opoku has described his move to Udinese as an 'awesome moment' after he was officially presented to the media and club's supporters on Friday.

The 20-year-old joined the Serie A side from Tunisian club Club Africain, where he spent one season.

The former Berekum Chelsea star is hoping to showcase his talent under coach Julio Velazquez when the season kicks off.

He will team up with fellow Black Star Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, who has returned from a loan spell at Bursaspor.

Opoku made his international bow for Ghana against the United States in a friendly match last year and currently boasts of five appearances.
