OFFICIAL: Cape Town City sign Surprise Ralani from Helsingborgs IF

The Citizens have made their third mid-season signing as they continue to bolster their squad ahead of the restart of the 2017/18 PSL campaign

Cape Town City on Wednesday confirmed the signing of Surprise Ralani from Swedish side Helsingborgs IF.

He returns to South Africa following nine-year stint in Europe, where he featured in the Danish and Swedish leagues.

It will be his very first stint in South Africa's top-flight, having been a graduate of Farouk Khan's Stars of Africa Academy in 2009.

Furthermore, Ralani becomes the club's third signing following the arrivals of Kwanda Mngonyama and Masoud Juma in the current window period.

They have lost a host of key players this window, notably Aubrey Ngoma to Mamelodi Sundowns and Lehlohonolo Majoro to Bidvest Wits.

Captain Robyn Johannes has signed a pre-contract with champions Bidvest Wits.
