Cape Town City on Wednesday confirmed the signing of Surprise Ralani from Swedish side Helsingborgs IF.
He returns to South Africa following nine-year stint in Europe, where he featured in the Danish and Swedish leagues.
It will be his very first stint in South Africa's top-flight, having been a graduate of Farouk Khan's Stars of Africa Academy in 2009.

They have lost a host of key players this window, notably Aubrey Ngoma to Mamelodi Sundowns and Lehlohonolo Majoro to Bidvest Wits.
Captain Robyn Johannes has signed a pre-contract with champions Bidvest Wits.
