Wazito dislodged Ushuru from the top as Palos failed to win at home. At Camp Toyoyo, Nairobi, defender Austine Ochieng helped his side to a comfortable 3-0 win against Nakuru All Stars. The towering center-back scored from the spot with two other goals coming from Erick Odhiambo and Piston Mutamba to send his team to the top of the table.
In Eldoret, GFE registered first victory in four weeks against Police FC. The Rift Valley-based side needed an early Boniface Mukhekhe strike to down the Charles Omondi led side. At Moi Stadium, Kisumu, Palos FC were held to a 0-0 draw by visiting Nairobi Stima.
Agro Chemicals forced Kibera Black Stars to a one all draw at Camp Toyoyo grounds. Erick Kinuthia had scored the opener for the hosts in the 37th minutes but Notikely Masasi ensured the teams go to break evenly. Only five points separate the five top teams.
Wazito lead the pack with 25 points, one ahead of second placed Ushuru FC. Nairobi Stima is third with 22, one more than fourth and fifth placed KCB and Vihiga United respectively.
