Yanga have confirmed that striker Donald Ngoma is fit and will return to training on Thursday ahead of their Federation Cup quarter final clash with Singida United on April 1.
The Jangwani Boys will resume training on Thursday after a two day break following their CAF Champions League elimination by Township Rollers on Saturday.
Speaking in a press conference, Yanga’s Spokesman, Dismas Teni said that Ngoma who has not featured in any match since October is fit again and he will be in contention to play a part in the coming matches both domestically and internationally.
“He will join the full training with the rest of players on Thursday and maybe he will be in contention to play in the coming matches,” said Teni.
Yanga has been eliminated from Champions League and relegated to the Confederation Cup and they will learn their opponent on Wednesday.
But also they are in the quarter finals of the FA cup whereby they will play Singida United on April 1.
In the Ligi Kuu they sit second behind Simba who are only ahead on goal difference and the two teams have a game scheduled for April 7.
Ngoma's return will be a huge boost to Yanga coach George Lwandamina as the club enters a crucial part of the season.
