"It was noted that your team fielded an ineligible player player Larrick Omboko of St. Joseph Youth, who used a card belonging to a different player. We hereby wish to inform you that Balaji FC has forfeited the above mentioned match for fielding an ineligible player in Larrick Omboko, a player licence number FKF 000079. The match is hereby awarded to Coast Stima FC.’’

The letter is addressed to Balaji FC and copied to the FKF President, FKF Leagues and Competitions Committee and Coast Stima. The Coastal side that features in the FKF Division One League were eliminated in the first round following a 1-4 defeat by Balaji FC on post match penalties after a one all draw in normal time.

With the verdict, Coast Stima will now host Kenya Premier League side Nzoi Sugar at KPA Mbaraki Sports Club on Sunday, July 9, 2017.
