Moukandjo opened the scoring in the sixth minute as he put the ball past Quanbo Guo, having seen his first shot blocked.

In the 17th minute, Roger Schmidt’s men were reduced to 10 as Tao Jiang was given the marching order for a serious foul play.

And in the 44th minute, Masika doubled the hosts’ lead by beating the shot-stopper from outside the box after being picked out by Diop who later sealed the victory in the 69th minute, having converted the goal from the penalty spot.

Moukandjo and Masika were substituted for Hantian Xiang and Yang Liu in the 51st and 85th minutes respectively. Diop played the full 90 minutes as well as Bakambu.

Beijing Renhe make a trip to Shanghai Shenhua in their next outing on August 26 while Beijing Guoan travel to take on Tianjin Teda on August 25 in the Chinese Super League clash.
