Modern Coast coach elated after thrashing Ushuru

Rangers moved to third position on the 19 team NSL log with11 points, one behind joint leaders GFE 105 and Wazito

Modern Coast Rangers coach Ahmed Mchulla Mohaa is elated over the teams 3-1 resounding victory against Ushuru in a National Super League match played at Thika Stadium on Monday.

Speaking during post match interview, Mohaa applauded the players for for the fighting spirit that enabled them to come from behind and emerge victorious.

“I’am pleased with the character of my players for coming from a goal down to win the match. I want them to keep that fighting spirit. We must work hard and remain focused but not be complacent.”

The coach revealed lack of concentration made them concede the goal in the first stanza but was happy that in the second half the boys regained composure and concentration. After playing 6 matches, Rangers moved to third position on the 19 team NSL log with11 points, one behind joint leaders GFE 105 and Wazito.

Rangers play their next match against 8th placed Administration Police at KPA Mbaraki Sports Club on Saturday.
