Michael Olunga plays second league match in China

Kenyan striker Michael Olunga, on Friday, played his second Chinese Super League match for Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng.

The former Gor Mahia forward crossed from Swedish Djurdargens IF to the Chinese club in January and was done with his paper-work after three matches of the league.

He made his league debut on Saturday 8, April, against Tianjin Teda where his club registered a 0-0 draw at Guiyang Olympic Stadium before playing a full-match against Chongqing Dangdai Lifan on Friday 14.

Unfortunately, his side fell 1-2 to the hosts; Fan Yunlong’s goal serving as a consolation after Nan Song and Wu Qing scored one goal apiece for Chongqing.

At position 12 on the 16-team log, Hengfeng Zhicheng host Shanghai Shenhua in their next match.
