Mduduzi Manyama to join Kaizer Chiefs on trial

'Mdu', who hails from Diepsloot, will be in the Ke Yona side that will face the reigning Nedbank Cup champions, SuperSport United next month

Nedbank Ke Yona midfielder Mduduzi 'Mdu' Manyama is looking forward to training with Kaizer Chiefs.

The teenager was selected in the final 18-man squad of the 2017 Nedbank Cup Ke Yona search team.

As part of this initiative, Manyama will join the Amakhosi on trial for a month.

“I’m very happy. I look forward to work hard,” Manyama was quoted on the official Chiefs website on Monday.

“This is has been one of my great wishes from a young age,"he continued.

"I can’t believe that I am now about to realise this dream and be able to train with the mighty Amakhosi for a month," Manyama added.

"This will be the highlight of my life," the 19-year-old concluded.

He will be looking to impress the Chiefs technical team and hopefully sign a deal with the club.
