Mayanga names strong starting line-up to face Algeria

Tanzania National Football Team (Taifa Stars) head coach Salum Mayanga has named a strong starting line-up to face Algeria in the friendly match later today.

Taifa Stars will play the Foxes with the memory of their humiliation in 2015 were they accepted a 7-0 thrashing in a World Cup qualifying match. Stars was then coached by, Charlse Mkwasa.

In his starting line-up today, Mayanga has named at least five players who were part of the starting line-up which got the hammering three yeas ago. The other six players including the then captain Nadir Haroub are left out of the current squad.

Mayanga will use this game as preparation ahead of their 2019 AFCON qualifiers where Taif Stars will face Uganda, Cape Verde and Lesotho.
