Mathare United have signed a deal with a betting firm ahead of next season.

The ‘Slum Boys’ confirmed on Wednesday that they have penned a three-year contract with OdiBets. “OdiBets are our new shirt sponsors for the next three seasons starting, December 2018.”

The ‘Slum Boys’ used the branded shirts of OdiBets during their league match against Gor Mahia that ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday. Chairman Bob Munro has welcomed the new sponsorship.

“The past few seasons have been particularly successful for the club both on and off the pitch despite some financing challenges. This sponsorship will certainly give the club the stability it needs to forge ahead and compete for the KPL title”.

Mathare United will wind up the 2018 season with a clash against Ulinzi Stars.
