Mathare United have released four players as the clubs tries to shake up squad ahead of 2018 Kenyan Premier League season.

The ‘Slum Boys’ have parted ways with midfielder Victor Ashinga, striker Brian Nyakan, midfielder Musa Oundo and Frank Liyayi. Mathare United have also made it clear that they will not renew Harrison Mwendwa's contract.

Mwendwa will not be part of the team next season following the expiry of his contract that ends on December 31.

Mathare United have so far made two signings, roping in Modern Coast midfielder, Francis Omondi, who penned a three-year deal and goalkeeper, Job Ochieng, who was promoted from the academy side.
