Manchester United vs Wolves Betting Tips: Value with Jimenez at Old Trafford

Manchester United and Wolves face off in a pivotal Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday evening with both sides locked on 34 points.

The Red Devils begin the weekend above Wolves by virtue of a superior goal difference, with Tottenham sandwiched between the sides, and so the race for fifth or even fourth could take a significant twist in Manchester.

Matches between these two sides tend to be hard-fought, with none of the last six featuring more than three goals and four of those seeing two or fewer.

The likelihood of goals decreases even further without Marcus Rashford, who has 14 Premier League strikes, leaving Anthony Martial as the focal point of United’s attack and bet365 make him Evens (2.0) to score anytime.

Martial is United’s second-top scorer with eight goals and after netting in the reverse fixture, he may prove to be a popular selection at his price.

Raul Jimenez is Wolves’ top scorer by some way with 11 goals and will fancy his chances of adding to the two goals he has scored in his last three games. bet365 offer 7/4 (2.75) on the Mexican to do just that.

One of the Premier League’s most promising young forwards is Mason Greenwood and is 2/1 (3.0) take advantage of Rashford’s absence by netting his fifth top-flight goal of the season.

Next in the betting is Pedro Neto at 5/2 (3.50), with the Portuguese having put a poor first half of the campaign behind him to score twice in his last four Premier League starts.

Diogo Jota has not scored since netting a hat-trick against Besiktas in the Europa League in December and may not garner much interest at 3/1 (4.0) considering he has not started a game in 2020.

United duo Daniel James and Jesse Lingard are also priced at 3/1 (4.0), and again they are unlikely to have many backers considering James has not scored in any competition since August and Lingard is goalless in the Premier League since December 22, 2018.

Juan Mata scored the winner when these sides met in the FA Cup just over two weeks ago and is available at 10/3 (4.33) to haunt Nuno Espirito Santo’s side once again, whilst Adama Traore is 15/4 (4.75).
