Betting odds & tips

Barcelona are favourites to beat Mallorca at 19/20 with bet365. At 29/10 to win, Mallorca are considered clear outsiders.

Luuk De Jong is the shortest priced player to be first goalscorer at 5/1, while Abdon Prats can be backed at 7/1.

Both teams to score has paid out in seven of Mallorca's last nine league matches and in six of Barca's last eight clashes. A repeat this weekend can be backed at 3/4.

Villarreal 1-3 Barcelona (27/11/21)

Mallorca have shown they are tough to beat particularly at home where the likes of Sevilla, Betis and Villarreal have all been held to draws.

Luis Garcia Plaza's side also recorded a memorable win at champions Atletico Madrid in early December and if they can field a strong starting XI they will be confident of frustrating Barcelona.

The visitors head to the island of Mallorca with a severely depleted squad and Sunday night's game will be a real test of character for Xavi Hernandez's young team.
