Malian Abdoulaye Keita joins Le Havre

The Mali youth international leaves the troubled Corsica side for Stade Oceane

Malian born utility player Abdoulaye Keita has joined Ligue 2 outfit Le Havre on a three-year deal from Bastia.

The 23-year old who featured 21 times last campaign leaves Corsica since his arrival in 2012.

 The Malian youth international still had a year left Bastia, whose administrative demotion in National 1was confirmed recently.

Bastia failed their appeal against relegation to the French third division, having already been demoted once on financial grounds after finishing bottom of Ligue 1.

The Blues were condemned to the third tier by French football’s financial ombudsman and had pledged to offload players to balance the club’s accounts.
