Lwandamina: We will use League and Federation Cup as extra preparations

Last updated

Yanga Head Coach George Lwandamina, has revealed that their preparations for the return leg of the CAF Champions League against St Louis are going well and they hope to get a big victory away from home.

Playing at home last Saturday Yanga won 1-0 against the Seychelles’ side, a result that didn’t please most fans who believed Yanga should have won by a bigger margin.

Speaking to Goal Lwandamina said that football is a game of chance and that they are making preparations to make sure that they win the return leg of the tie.

"I hope we can succeed and qualify to the next round by beating St Louis at their home turf. We have two games coming up, one is a Premier League game and another is for the Federation Cup, our target is to use those matches as extra preparations that will help us  beat the Seychelles team and go to the next round," said Lwandamina.

The return of injured players who missed the first leg is a boost to the Zambian Coach in his bid to qualify for the second round of the competition.
