Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish has showered encomium on ‘excellent’ Mohamed Salah after his impressive start to life at the club.
The Reds broke their transfer record to land the Egypt international from Roma in the summer and the ex-Chelsea winger has started like a house on fire, scoring 12 goals in 17 appearances across all competitions this term.
And the former Scotland international, impressed with Salah’s seemingly seamless transition into Jurgen Klopp’s squad, expressed his delight with the former Basel star’s ‘bad habit of scoring goals’.
“Mo has got a bad habit of scoring goals and he doesn’t want to give up that habit,” he told the Liverpool Echo.
“Sometimes clubs suit players and sometimes players suit clubs.
“He seems to have got a really happy relationship with the club, the players, and the manager.
“He’s been excellent so far. Long may it continue.”
Salah will be looking to continue his purple patch in front of goal when Liverpool welcome Southampton to the Anfield Stadium in Saturday’s English Premier League game.
